The Beatnik Editor for MacOS is a tool that musicians can use to create their own original Rich Music Format files, while using their existing MIDI sequencer software. The Beatnik Editor lets musicians link their MIDI sequencer directly to the sound bank within the Beatnik Editor, allowing real-time access to the same sounds the audience has on their computer in the form of the Beatnik Player (or Xtra). The Beatnik Editor also features several powerful sound processing and editing features such as dynamic LFO's, envelopes, waveforms, and more. Musicians can add custom audio samples to their projects, which can then be played or triggered just like any other sound in the Beatnik sound bank, greatly expanding the sonic palette and possibilities.
